Description
Aqueous calcium sulphate compound, previously used as an impression material ("impression plaster"). Nowadays mostly used in dental technology for casting models. Types I to V cover various degrees of hardness and setting expansion as well as setting times. Adding portions of acrylic and "vibrating" ("thixotropy") enhances the flow properties.
